We can also help with access to:
- Emergency pre-paid fuel meter top-ups
- Food parcels
- Discretionary Housing Payments
- Support through a hardship fund
There is other financial help available if you’ve had an income drop as a result of COVID-19. You can view more information on Solihull Council’s website.
If you are out of work, on reduced pay or on a low income, you maybe also be eligible for Council Tax Reduction and in some circumstances a Discretionary Reduction in Council Tax Liability.
The Money Advice Service also has some very useful information that may help if your income has been affected by the Coronavirus. This includes people who have been forced to take a drop in their working hours or who have had to stop work completely. It also has useful information around claiming Universal Credit.
