Ray and Brenda from Kingsgate House
Ray and Brenda have lived in their high rise block for over 30 years.
Before retirement they both spent all of their working life in the car industry at various factories in the midlands.
Ray is the driving force behind the community garden at Kingsgate House, together with wife Brenda and neighbour Wendy they have transformed the garden into a pretty social place for all residents to enjoy.
As well as his work in the garden, he also looks after the indoor plants in the foyer.
Ray also looks after some of the other residents in the block, namely the two fish in a tank in the foyer and by feeding the numerous birds that visit the garden.
